Because generator safety is so important to our members as well as our field personnel working on the lines - Jackson Energy is excited to announce a NEW PRODUCT that we are offering to our members. GENERLINK devices allow our members to connect their portable generator directly to their electric panel. These devices will also provide back feed protection which keeps our linemen safe during outage restoration.
The cost of the GenerLink devices include the device, cord and installation --- please note, Jackson Energy personnel will install these devices.
A few things to know:
* Will only work with a 200 amp service
* The 40 amp model is compatible with portable generators up to 10,000 running watts
* The standard cord length is 20' and is included with each device
