FOCUS Film Project. The FOCUS Group consists of business leaders in Clay, Jackson, Lee, Leslie and Owsley Counties working together toward common goals for the benefit and growth of our region. The FOCUS Group applied for a Appalachian Rural Commission grant through the Center for Economic Development where high school students in these counties were challenged to create a short economic development video showcasing the natural, cultural, economic and business advantages of their hometowns. This project enabled the students to learn about their local economy and contribute to the future development of our region.
