Mark your calendars for June 5th for Jackson Energy Member Appreciation Day and Annual Business Meeting.
Events will be held in seven counties on the same day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Annual Business Meeting will be held at 2 p.m. at the Jackson Energy District Office on KY HWY 290.
Members will be able to register at each location and pick up their bucket and LED bulb. Several locations will also offer a drive-thru registration, including in McKee, Manchester, Mt. Vernon, Beattyville, London and Irvine.
Members can register for door prizes and vote for board directors at the Annual Business Meeting. Information from a variety of community groups will also be on display at the Jackson County event, including the Jackson County 4-H and Extension Service, as well as exhibits on electric vehicles and energy efficiency.
Member Appreciation Day locations are Clay County, Jackson Energy Office, Manchester; Estill County, Meades Do It Center, Irvine; Jackson County, Jackson Energy Office, HWY 290; Laurel County, Jackson Energy Office, London; Lee County, Jackson Energy Office, Beattyville; Owsley County, United Methodist Church, Booneville; and Rockcastle County, Renfro Valley Shelter House, Mt. Vernon.
